i got like a 10' telephone pole already beside my house it used to have a tv antenna on it years ago so i was just going to figure out a way to rig some kinda mast up to it to get it to around 20-25' and put a few 800mhz yagis and a wide band antenna for the vhf ect

If you put up an unguyed mast on top of an existing 10' telephone pole, expect to get a lot of wind sway if you go higher than 15-20 feet above the top of the pole. I have two sections of 10' metal mast that extend about 17 feet above the eave of my garage with only a very small, lightweight UHF ground plane on top. And it sways.... a lot. If I recall correctly from experience years ago, fiberglass will do the same thing.

Looking at the pole again its more on the end of 20' not 10 foot already so maybe like a 10' mast but i want to to be light for ease of breaking it down and what not so i can add an antenna or possibly just to domaintain what I have that's my next hurdle I can't have it like I would like and just pivot down due to power lines and cable lines

The ones i have came from Lowes, theyre only 5 ft sections but are very light. And thanks for compliment, I appreciate it. I hope it can help someone else.

reconrider8- If you only need to put up a single 10ft section of mast..... and want to be able to raise/lower it easily without "folding" it over.... why not move it straight up/down the telephone pole? Get a couple of sidemount mast standoff brackets (picture attached) and when you want to move the mast up or down to change antennas, just loosen the bolts on the mast clamps slightly and slide the mast up/down.

You could use a wall mount kit like this (Antenna Farm is source, but many others sell them) -

Antenna Wall Mount Kits : The Antenna Farm :: , Your Two Way Radio Source!

Depending on the distance between the holes on the telephone pole side of the mount and whether or not it will be sturdy enough with just four bolts into the pole (for two brackets)... you might need to add galvanized strapping around the pole. Be sure to space the brackets a few feet apart so as to get good vertical strength/stability for the mast.
