SDS200 may be overkill since Lavaca County TX is primarily analog & P25 conventional & if you have no intentions on ever monitoring a P25 Phase-II system with simulcast cells. BCD536HP is a good choice, I've owned two since its release in 2014

I don't believe it's made it to the RR database yet, but Lavaca County in now P25 conventional simulcast. A SDS-series may be the best choice.
Yeah I should have examined the site map before responding. Though perhaps the sites may be spaced far enough apart to not cause any issues, all depends on the OP's location. Not sure what topography is like over there but before I get sucked into a rabbit hole I'll shut up...

not many scanners cover the 6 Gig range....
and if i have it right, it would be in digital, probably a propriety one also.
i am sure others will chime in now.

Again you're focusing on the MW stuff where you won't hear anything. How about try the frequency I posted and let us know what you hear?

Thank you I will as soon as I learn how to program my scanner. I thank you for that. I just thought if there were other frequencies to add I would try them at that time again thank you

Remember that newly licensed frequencies that agencies are ‘just now’ switching to will not be in the database for your SDS200 until someone confirms them and submits the change to the database

Do you have any idea how long that would take to appear on database?

Nothing is going to happen until someone in range enters that frequency into their scanner (or via one of the SDR dongles) and verifies that is active, and confirms what it's being used for. They would need to verify the agency using it (The Sheriff's Office, County Fire dispatch? Something Else?), and also determine whether it is being used analog, or digital (as has already been suggested). Once those details are gathered, then it can be submitted to be entered in the database. After that point, one of the database admins will work the submission, and (presuming the needed details are submitted) get it added. After that, then Uniden gathers database informationon SUndays, processes the changes. then releases an updated database to be used by the SDS series, as well as other Uniden database scanners. So, depending on when the submission is made, it about could be ten days (too close to the deadline for it to be worked & added by Sunday for next week) or longer. The clock on getting it added doesn't start until someone confirms & submits the details,

Have you tried 154.2275 NAC 721 yet?
The frequency was already in the scanner. I do not see where I would enter NAC 721, but when it is scanning I see p25:7c1.

someone gave me a list of frequencies and 158.9875 is listed but every time I put that frequency in it changes to 158.9850.
I watched a video on how to program and it said to use conventional for frequency

i can hear some of the deputies but the dispatchers are garbled. I ask if they were encrypted and was told just a new frequency.
