Hearing Fire/EMS traffic coming across 155.670. Don't see this listed in the Frequency Database on RR. It definitely is Wyoming County...Hearing truck mobiles and chiefs and then Warsaw County responding to them on 46.180 which is dispatch....

You are right. I did a search for 155.67 in NY & PA and no results for Wyoming County. Then I did a search for 46.18 in NY & PA and found WPXU833 in Wyoming County. I opened that and then clicked on the FRN 0003397593 and found 155.67 numerous times, mostly under WQRL404 which is Wyoming County Public Safety.

I'm not sure why this doesn't show up in a search.

Not sure what FCC Search you are using but this one
Site / Market / Frequency Query
works fine

Never mind, Re-Read, You did not find on RR, remember RR info is MEMBER supported. Until someone Submits it, you will only find the info via the RR FCC or the actual FCC Searches

Thanks for the info...I'm hazarding a guess that 154.670 will be the new High band Frequency that Warsaw will use to dispatch Fire/EMS in Wyoming County in the near future to migrate away from Low band....Similar to what Cattaraugus County is doing on 154.325....

On that note...I sure would like to know what Brain Trust chose 154.325 for Cattaraugus County to migrate over to on High Band??? The bleed over from what sounds like Westmoreland County in PA is annoying to say the least...Why couldn't a different Frequency be chosen that wouldn't have that annoying bleed over...

Just checked Westmoreland County PA n the database. They are the same low band frequency 33.70. They do not have a frequency that would "bleed over." The data base gives us great opportunities to do homework to understand what we are hearing.

the last i heard , still waiting for Canada to give clearance to fcc to give the freq lic to wyoming county
155.6700 is good freq , looks like for normal call runs ,right now / dispatching on 46.18 / mobile talkback on highband , than yes will all switch to highband when lic is clear, but there is going to be up to [5] more fireground channels/freq;s that will show up . yes 155.6700 is alive, ct tones 82.5. now testing to see if
to see if any Canada interference. i did pick up ARCADE ambulance load/clear/highband, from Erie County.
The question i have is why they went to High Band As per Erie county fire is all UHF? ERIE / WYOMING COUNTIES DO A LOT OF MUTUAL AID CALLS , HUM! ,maybe uhf would not work proper in Wyoming County ,

Jim, as I am typing this there is a call on 154.325 and the dispatcher clearly says Somerset Township...A quick Search and what do I find...Somerset Township in Washington County, PA...Right adjacent to Westmoreland County...A mutual Aid call...They are dispatching DEFINITELY in Westmoreland County in PA. It is coming in loud and clear. My Vollie Department has begun to slowly use Minitor 6's which are programmed to the 154.325 frequency and the Same traffic is being picked up by them.
The issue here is the crossover from 33.700 to 154.325. Most departments in Catt. County can't afford to change over / switch to the 154.325 new high band dispatch. So I guess until funds can be obtained to change the county is having 33.700 crossing over to 154.325 as what I would say will be a LONG TERM "Band-Aid" fix....LOL!!!

BITT211, Yeah it looks like one would definitely need another radio due to the fact that both Springville and or East Aurora, etc. are all in the 400 band split. Don't think a 150ish band mobile/portable can be programmed the 400 band... Although, going from Wyoming County to Catt. County will work if they both use the 150 band...So you could eliminate a device that way...
