Lucas county Sheriff but I think they are dispatched by tpd on unified law enforcement on the sw talk group. Thanks for clarifying on Springfield. So they don’t have any special tones on their end?

The consolidated dispatch center is run by Lucas County. The SO has units on both SE dispatch and NW dispatch. Most of the SO road units are on NW dispatch. None of the dispatch talkgroups are encrypted. As far as special tones for Springfield Twp, no there is nothing you can program to single out just Springfield Twp.
Ahhh ok great thanks for that! Do you thinks Springfield hears a special tone or they have to hear everyone else too?

If they are monitoring by radio, they hear exactly what you hear. They will also receive the call on their MDC via the CAD system. I am sure they have some sort of station alerting set up. This can be done several different ways, but in this case, not by tones that you can program into a radio, scanner, pager to only hear calls for Springfield Twp.
