It's an old PSR600. With everything here gone Big E, I think it's probably all the radio I will never need.

Did you grow up in Houston? Most people outside of the Houston area don't know who the "Big E" is.

Born and raised in Abilene. I was referring to encryption.

Abilene went fully encrypted on public safety, including law enforcement, fire, and EMS. The main hospital, Hendrick's, also has a couple of encrypted TGIDs on the city's trunked system.

Taylor County and the smaller towns are still conventional, either analog or P25. None of the immediately surrounding counties around Abilene/Taylor County use any kind of trunked systems at this time.

You may need an outside antenna to monitor those adjoining counties. TONS of info here on RR!
