Cherokee National Forest

The Cherokee National Forest is the largest tract of public land in Tennessee spanning more than 660,000 acres in the Southern Appalachian Mountains. The forest is separated into northern and southern sections by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park and adjoins other national forests in Virginia, North Carolina, and Georgia.

The forest is home to more than 700 miles of trails including the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, seven whitewater rivers, numerous waterfalls, miles of scenic byways, and a variety of developed campgrounds and day-use facilities that offer a wide range of outdoor recreation opportunities.

There is a Forest Supervisors Office in Cleveland, TN. Ranger Districts are the Ocoee in Benton, TN; the Tellico in Tellico Plains, TN; the Unaka in Greeneville, TN; and the Watauga in Unicoi, TN. The communications center is located in the Forest Supervisors Office and identifies as "Cherokee Dispatch."

My receiver unmuted on 169.925/7F3 (NAC) this AM at 0802 hrs. From southern McMinn County TN. Not close enough to National Forest to capture input. Was 164.125 using old tone PL's.

and we can't map back to the old tones, as 7F3 = 203.5 and none of the Analog data had 203.5 for a PL

Yes 164.1250 was the prev input, once rebanded from 166.6750
