I found a P25 trunked system today while scanning through my regular set of channels and found an empty P25 signal on the Marengo School frequency, 452.1875. I ended up directly tuning to it with the TUNE button since I thought it was my radio being screwy and thinking TRBO was P25 and it did not sound like any kind of TRBO. I pressed the "mode" softkey and it decoded it as a P25 control channel. I hooked it up to my computer with PRO96Com and it found a few other neighboring sites. No TGRP activity yet, just an empty control channel so far, but I have occasionally been getting P25 hits on that freq and this time I finally got it in a consistent spot to receive it. There are no alternate CC's listed, only the single 452.1875 one. I'm going to leave it sit and let PRO96Com do its job and find out if there's any activity overnight.
Attached is a picture of the system information in PRO96Com.
