One additional thing to consider while monitoring the alternate frequencies for traffic and content - most all of the Gold Cross response vehicles are equipped with an MDT. That system has to be on one of the frequencies that the company is licensed for, but at the moment, I just don't have time to sort that one out. Perhaps someone can mointor those listed frequencies for the tell-tale digital bursts so it can be eliminated as one of the channels to 'listen' to.

They will also have the UHF hospital MED frequencies in their mobiles iin addition to 155.340 for general hospital contact and patient info. I believe that some even have the telemetry channels for cardiac monitors, so that has to be considered as well. Good hunting...

Gold Cross actually utilizes software called Facilis Mobile for their MDT. This software was created by Paratech Ambulance Service out of Milwaukee, WI. The software does not utilize any radio equipment at all, it is installed on a mobile device such as a Blackberry, Windows Mobile phone or laptop computer mounted in the rigs. I did program my radios today and was able to trip the repeater with the new PL codes.

Finally Closure on this subject! The correct PL is 156.7 for both TX and RX on the Brown Co. EMS Frequencies.

Why the heck they have different PL's is beyond me when there are only 2 ambulance services that get paged out over BC EMS and County Rescue (the other service) even has their own Repeated Frequency.

To hear NEW Rescue enter the following into your radio:
RX - 154.040 (PL 156.7)
TX - 158.925 (PL 156.7)

NEW also has a tactical Frequency that is repeated and is:
RX - 153.560 (DPL 371)
TX - 150.920 (DPL 371)

I honestly couldn't tell you what Dispatch calls them when they are paged out as I have NEVER heard them paged out. In fact, I have never heard them on Brown Co. EMS until the other day when I put the freq. into my other scanner without the PL.

If I had to guess from other radio traffic that I have heard they would be NEW Rescue (I believe I have hear NEW Rescue 50 come accross the radio once or twice)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------All I can say about their title is when I hear them doing runs in Shawano Co., our dispatchers refer to them as "N-E-W --51". I don't know if that helps or not.
