Has anyone tried to listen to the Richmond/Henrico/Chesterfield system after updating to the new SDS 100/200 firmware? There are reports on other forums that reception of Motorola SmartZone systems became worse with the new firmware.

Yes, some of the transmissions are cutting in and out since the update. Henrico Fire Dispatch 1 for example. I have tried changing the filter but nothing seems to fix it. Never had this problem before. The second firmware update seemed to make improvements, but it is still happening.

Yes, the same for me. I tried the beta sub update that Uniden provided to try to fix it, but it still did not work correctly. Glad to see Uniden is acknowledging the problem and working on it.

Look over in this thread. Uniden put out a new beta on 1/12 that seems to be working pretty well to address our issues with SmartZone. They are looking for feedback.
