so i looked it up and FAA says Rockford airport has a bunch of 120.X that i hear traffic on they also have a 290.375 tower Ground and 327.0 App/Dept. but i never hear anything on them i hear the Tower Ground and App/Dept on 120.X so can someone explain why they have a 200 and 300's freqs when they have the 120.X freqs?
280 to 399 Mhz. will be Military AC and I'm not sure how much they use Rockford.

I think the "aisle" you're hearing is probably ILS, said quickly. Eye-el-ess, pilots spell it out very quickly, then the runway, like posted above.
So, "cleared ILS 27 Right". That's every ORD pilot's favorite runway.....NOT!
Thanks, what you're saying seems more likely than what Andy was saying. Although I thought I heard something like "aisle right cleared to land 27 right" in addition to "aisle left" but I'll have to double check that, could be wrong.
Why is 27r a bad runway?

Definitely wrong. There is no such thing.

It's as far away as you can get from the gates, and makes for some very painful taxi times.
