Hi All,

I am new to the London, Ontario area, coming from Waterloo Region, and I am wondering what the best options are for scanning emergency services in London/Middlesex area? I have a Realistic Pro-2001 and Uniden Bearcat BC346XTC. I am wondering if there are any older setups which the Realistic Pro-2001 could be set up to scan? As well, are there any analog trunking systems worth listening to?

Thanks!

Very little left as far as analog trunking. Most of the commercial users have switched over to NXDN or MotoTRBO trunking systems. There is however at least on 800 mhz analog system still running, however I doubt there is much traffic on it.

As far as emergency services go, London Fire is P25 clear, LPS are P25 encrypted, and EMS is on Fleetnet of course. Western Campus Police and Fanshawe Special Constables are both using MotoTRBO

Thanks Forts! I have 154.72500 and 150.72500 programmed into the Realistic and I have picked up a couple tone-outs from Middlesex dispatch. Thanks for the tips!
