According to Uniden, the SDS150 retains the same IPX4 water resistance as the SDS100.A repost from another thread.

...Anyone seen and carrying cases available for it yet? I guess ill have to sell my SDS100 carrying case.
What I enjoy about ordering from scanner master is that they give a discount based upon how large your cart is. I’m waiting for them to have both a nylon case and SDS150 in stock before I order mine.
| Water Resistance | Improved; IP67 rating | IPX4 (splash), not submersible |
Uniden’s website says otherwise.
Water Resistance Improved; IP67 rating IPX4 (splash), not submersible
Clearly states it was improved to IP67
That comparison was AI generated so I wouldn't trust it very much.

No TETRA capabilities will be present in the SDS150 at this time.Hello everyone,
I'm from Germany. My question is whether the Mode Tetra (direct) will also be available as an optional cash purchase for the SDS 150?
Perhaps @jasonhouk knows more about this.
Thanks for your answers
We had a "wish list" that JoeBearcat where holding but I don't expect him to have handed that over to Uniden before he jumped ship. You have one true or false parameter that you are trying to apply to an entry: Encrypted or not encrypted. Rather than creating 25 new tags, this data should be stored in its own field.
Huh? No it doesn't, only skips the encrypted talk group after it detects encryption. As it is done now the scanner skips the whole site and system as soon as it detects, false trigger or true, an encrypted call.
