to me

FYI - Uniden states there is no GovX discount for the SDS150. For those who got it for less than $949, good job!

Hi Matt,

Another good question! So unfortunately, SDS150 pre-orders aren't eligible for any discounts or promotional codes - including GovX. I know this may not be the answer you were hoping for and apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Please don't hesitate to let me know if you have any other questions.

Sincerely,
Sarah W.

If it does not fit your needs then you do not have to buy it. No one is standing here making those that cannot afford or need this scanner.
Budd - I'm buying it (already did) either way, but saw earlier posts about the discount and just wanted to update the group.

Go for that discount, I thought it sounded to good to be true but at least one other here got it.

Mean the PayPal offer😁...

@jasonhouk have you tried charlotte county yet? Seems the bands are opening up in FL. Try to see if you can get polk county stuff from where you are at.

Just skimming the manual linked above. I like the button that says "Zip / Services." No more having to go into the menu and hunt down the service types to turn them on / off!

I like the idea of the "U/Aware" app. If Uniden decides not to produce a SDS250 then it would be a viable idea for me to replace the SDS200 with a SDS150 and connect to a smart phone via BT. That doesn't have to be my "main" smart phone as I don't think that internet connectivity is a requirement.

Something to think about.

Am I correct that the U/Aware app is only available for Android? If that's the case, the bluetooth feature will defiantly not be a feature that I use.
