@jasonhouk have you tried charlotte county yet? Seems the bands are opening up in FL. Try to see if you can get polk county stuff from where you are at.

I caught this in the sds150 manual. It looks like it has support for TDMA control channel.
My own opinion, but requiring extra equipment should be unnecessary, just to enjoy the device. For on-the-go updating, editing and interaction, that's one thing, but in order to just use wireless headphones, I shouldn't need three devices, all of which eat up battery time.
I like the idea of the "U/Aware" app. If Uniden decides not to produce a SDS250 then it would be a viable idea for me to replace the SDS200 with a SDS150 and connect to a smart phone via BT. That doesn't have to be my "main" smart phone as I don't think that internet connectivity is a requirement.

Uniden's rep here, @jasonhouk , is an iOS user, and is beta testing the 150, so.... You draw the conclusion.
Well, then that might change things! Thanks for that info. I'll keep an eye out as the release date gets closer. Not saying that bluetooth is a deal / no deal feature for me... I'm still planning on buying the SDS150 either way

I'm a recent convert to using apps to control things and record data so looking forward to making good use of it😀...
