A decent size RDF consisting of troopers from multiple Troop B barracks and assignments, including Commercial Vehicle Enforcement, was activated to Newark last night. They assembled at the Troop D Newark Barracks (NJTP) at about 18:30 before deploying through the city in expectations of worse case scenario given the insanity, vandalism and theft....er...I mean "protests"...going on around the country right now.

They're smart enough to know that they might occasionally get away with messing with Newark PD, but they wouldn't stand a chance against New Jersey State Troopers.
