If you mean the file at the very first post, it has 3767 channels in it. The 15 holds 2500. So you may be well out of memory. The best way to check is to go to the front panel and Menu * Settings * See Scanner Info * % Memory Used.

First off you have to locate the data files on your computer. Will end in USD as a general rule for BCT 15 and SS8 for BCT 8. Once you've located where they are on your pc, reply to this thread and use "manage attachments".
Click on browse and go to location where data files are stored. Select file and click Upload. You can do up to 5 files in one message. Since the only format for scanners permitted to be uploaded is USD, any other type you will have to zip. (or you might want to try renaming the file with the .zip extension and then put in your message for people to rename back to the original extension). Always put in your reply what scanner files are for. Good Luck.

I too see a problem - slight - that files are here - you cant tell when they are updated
On the Yahoo groups as files are uploaded - updated it can send out an email notice and if not list the files by the date uploaded,
i dont see much of that here

Here's one for South Jersey - Gloucester County Fire and PD - including the newly modified zone coverage - along with State Police and Philadelphia Media. Everything is categorized and grouped with both system quick keys and group quick keys for segregating systems and groups during joint operations. It is a Freescan file originally built for the BCD396XT. I chose Freescan as more people would have access to that than some of the paid programs I use.

This file is typical of us in NJ no interoperability. Yahoo has a place to store the files. Why are they here when they can be in a central place with other states?

And sharing is something many people in NJ don't like to do very well!
After all if you travel you would want to look all over the place rather than one central data bank.

I have a question I am looking for help with more I am able to hear North Simulcast of NJSP I was wondering if I programed all these talkgroups & IDs from Group A and Group C and the rest of these talk groups and ID's from here New Jersey State Police Trunking System, Statewide, New Jersey - Scanner Frequencies and from here http://wc2em.net:8080/scanner/NJSP.pdf and a few from the NJSP Spreadsheet under group B. are can someone just copy me a good list of every ID and talk groups for every thing with PD dispatch and ect and fire or what every the other ids and talkgroups and then i will program all these in and still leave it on ID Search and let it pick up new ones. I have Uniden BCD966XT thanks so much.

im trying to program my cdm1550 for ocean county truked system. police north fire marshal and fire zones. in my cps all can do is enter in Rx low id and rx hi id. i can't enter in the hex like on the website. can any one help please???

First, this is not the proper forum for programming questions about commercial radios.
Second, that radio will not do Motorola Type-II trunking.
Third, If you have any reason to be on the Ocean County TRS, the appropriate people would have provided you with a legitimate radio.
Stick with a scanner...

I know I have asked this before and people are giving me their files to download and it hard to get the files to open up in my FreeScan program. Now What I am going to do is program the ID # and tags on my own. I have seen some other ones pop up from Troop C. I know I can hear the Toll Bridge from my house. But can u look at this list New Jersey State Police Trunking System, Statewide, New Jersey - Scanner Frequencies and tell me what other good ones I should program in. Also when I do the Toll Bridge I know they are on Digital P25 should I change the Audio type to Digital On or leave it at ALL. I hope someone will give me ideas and some help. I know I am been a pain but I am trying to get my BCD996XT full of stuff. thanks again
