Turned on radio this morning radio is showing just a blank screen backlight only no buttons will work popped out sd card left batteries out no change anyone else ever had this issue

Too cold maybe? (Temp change?)
Batteries weak?
If neither, try to clear the data on SD card and reload. Could be a SD card issue

Try a different card. If that resolves the problem, ditch the old card.

I've had this happen on more than one occasion on my 536's. Reformatting the same card worked for me

I had a friend with a 536 with a blank screen. The formatter wouldn't recognize the card. Replaced the card and scanner worked OK.

The Bearcat BCD-996P2 is MUCH more reliable and NO SD card issue either! Also MUCH less money and a perfect digital P.1/P.2 base/mobile with no issues!

i have two radios so i swapped cards no change

also for some reason it started up with prompt to set clock every time i fired it up after owning radio for a few years its never done that before
