Loudoun started a pursuit of a suspected DUI in Sterling. The supervisor said to terminiate at the county line on Rt7. Fairfax units were right there and picked it up southbound on Faifax Co Parkway. They just hit him with stop sticks south of Baron Cameron and are now boxing him in.

Got him at Sunrise Valley Dr. Hispanic male in a pickup.

Fauquier Co Jail Escapee

Fauquier Co working an escapee from their jail. VSP 1153 has just begun a track. Air support requested from Fairfax, but was denied. Ops on Fauquier TRS and 159.165. Escapee is from Front Royal and may have been aided by a girl friend.

Finally cought the guy around 7pm, in a or around a corn field.pursuit started around 9am

Had a fixed wing out to help and lots of other counties and dogs to capture the guy

VSP and Fauquier Co working a fatality crash in Remington. Believe it is in town on B-15. Reconstruction Team enrt. Highway closed. STC notified. Schools will open on time.

13237 Worth Ave Woodbridge, VA.
Kitchen on fire and evacuating structure.
Going to be shutting down parts of PWC parkway. OPS on PWCTRS Fire INC 1

1959- Cutting power
2000- Possibly just food smoke, not fire smoke.
2002- Small fire in walls. Making progress.
2006- Fire knocked down. Clearing about 1/2 the units.

Ford Bronco possibly wanted for robbery

534- 80mph southbound 495 passing 236, requesting helicopter.
537- passing braddock rd speeds 70, just rammed another vsp unit.
538- all lanes blocked 495 south south of braddock. 1 in custody

Stabbing in the Sugarland neighborhood. LCSO is establishing a perimeter for K9. Time lapse is about 15 minutes. Suspect is believed to be a black male in his early 20's, last scene running in the direction of the church. Ops on East channel and 6C.

Loudoun Co - Hostage Situation

Sounds like a hostage situation off Mountain Road in Lovettesville that started about 3PM this afternoon. Was at work and didn't hear the initial dispatch. I think I heard it dispatched as a suicidal person, but I wasn't able to focus completely on it. I know I heard a few deputies talking and mentioned the suspect was "prepping the south window", using a flash light on the 1st level, "banging on something" and they heard movement and "rustling around". The Hostage Negotiation van as well as the Command Bus are on scene. Operations on "Sheriff TAC2".

FCPD K-9 is tracking the driver of a stolen vehicle in Chantilly. Prince William Co and VSP had been chasing it on Rt66 and then Rt28. They are in the area of Rt28/Westfields/Willard.

It was too quiet, and now I've gotten it so it's too loud, but at least understandable. I won't be able to fix it until this evening.) Hearing traffic from both Fire and PD.


UPDATE: I heard that "media is beginning to arrive on scene" so we should know more soon.

Shooting in room 412 at northern virginia cc woodbridge campus
Unit nova 51 is on scene, signal 1 all units enroute

1442- 2 suspects in custody, no victims, still checking rooms
1508- All inside traffic has switched to PWC east Tac, fairfax-1 just marked overhead scene
There was a report at about 1500 that advised a down teacher on the 3rd floor but teams have not found anything on any floors
1516- Swat is entering clearing rooms with master keys and map.
1531- Evacuation plan is being started

Loudoun Co. - Brair Woods Incident

Anyone know what's happening at Briar Woods High School? I heard Fire/EMS dispatched but didn't hear what for. About 10 mins later I heard AirCare3 landing at the school then EMS call for the Sheriff's office due to "difficulty with the patient".

It's winding down now, but a townhouse fire started on Rising Sun Terrace around 5:30pm. Apparently 911 doesn't get saved in the 'recent calls' list on my cell phone, so I can't see when I called exactly. I was fishing the pond behind that row of townhouses a few hundreds yards from them. I was only there for 5-10 minutes and I could smell some smoke occassionally, figured it was a grill or fireplace. I didn't see any smoke or glow. I moved across the street and started fishing the other pond. I heard a pop really didn't know what it was. For whatever reason I looked back across the street and there was now a dark column of smoke.

I ran back over there make sure of it and called it in while I ran up to the street and the front of the house to get the address. The call taker second-guessed the address I gave. Told her I was sure because I was standing right in front of it. I know she questioned me because of all the calls coming from the other side of the lake that face the back of the house where the fire was. Those people couldn't give the street name obviously because all the first arriving units went to that street.

I really hate when people call 911 and can't give accurate locations of the event they are reporting. It can do more harm than good. I'll have some photos to post later.

I agree, but think of how I feel when I didn't see the city or locale of this townhouse. I'm guessing that it's in Loudoun County, but that's all. Hope nobody was hurt in the fire.

Fairfax Co is working an apartment fire in the Fair Oaks area. Ops on 4D and 4E.

Loudoun Co is now dispatching a house fire in box 08-08 Tobermory Place. Ops will be on 6D Tac 11 and 6L Tac 31. E605 on scene advising active fire. This an estate home. A few years back a house in the same neighborhood burned up completely. Water supply isn't so great there.
1935- Minor fire, already been put out.

1930- Loudoun dispatching another house fire (townhouse). Pickett's Corner Terrace-Ashburn area. Ops on 6C Tac 41.
This one didn't last long either.

Virginia State Police blocking traffic on I-66 through Rosslyn to allow plows to treat the roads with de-icer. An Arlington County police unit has been involved in a wreck there as roads iced up after sunset.
