Firefighters and EMTs were performing CPR in the middle of the intersection for awhile. Probably loaded the rider in the ambulance about 1320. M635C arrived for the 86yo driver of the vehicle that apparently pulled in front of the bike. Driver was complaining of hand pain and high blood pressure.

Rider has multisystem trauma, many broken bones and probable cranial hemorrhage. There has been pulseless electrical activity (PEA) since the beginning. This guy will be very lucky if he survives.

The bike looks like a Can-Am type 3-wheeler, though I didn't see any front wheels.

I got a better look at the bike. It's got a car tire on the rear, but it's not 3-wheeler. That's a sign of a crappy rider. Probably lacking braking skills, even a reduced speed of impact would've helped a lot. A squared-off tire is bad enough already, why would you put on a tire that is actually square to the ground?

Government Center Pkwy in E440's area - Bus into a parking garage at the park and ride. Bus crashed into the garage and burst into flames. HAZMAT on scene due to the bus being an electric bus. No one on board the bus or trapped. Major response has been initiated due to the entire bus being engulfed. One person injured, BLS. Units attacked the fire with hand lines, lines placed on the parking deck's upper levels, from deck guns, and from ladders. Controlled by 1850. Building inspector is en route.

Meanwhile, LCSO has confirmed the motorcycle crash was fatal.

16:30 - Armed Robbery in Reston With Arrests: teen robbed of his coat and shoes at gunpoint by multiple suspects. Units confirmed the robbery and got descriptions for the suspects, who fled on foot. A NPU officer saw subjects matching the description on a trail nearby and they took off on foot when they saw the cruiser; he and a patrol unit caught up on foot and held them at gunpoint. Backup took them into custody without incident. Officers recovered two firearms.

Legit fire in the walls of the apartments at 28 Ft Evans Road in Leesburg. E620 has requested the addition of a RIT task force.

Almost NOVA, certainly within radio range for some of us.

Structure on Aerie Lane in Jefferson Co, up on the ridge along the western edge of Loudoun. Mutual aid from Loudoun and Frederick Co MD. Extended ETA for most units.

1529- Fire reported out by a single arriving firefighter it sounds like, requests only the 1st due to continue, place the rest in service.

There was a hot tub on fire.

VSP pursuit videos are starting to show up on Youtube, mostly from the VA Beach area. But this one from Div7 was uploaded recently.
So maybe more of the pursuits will show up eventually. There are certainly a lot out there. Too bad we can't listen anymore. I guess the only way to know will be by listening to Fairfax Co, fortunately that can be done online as well.

Yep I saw that last night. I wish there was more info to look up the driver in VA case search to see the status of charges and check his crim history in DC and MD.

As you mentioned, other channels recently started posting VSP pursuits and they are good ones. Here is the list I have watched recently:

Just posted by State Boyzzz; Pursuit from 03/07/2024 with the VSP Trooper D. Bragg 1748

Virginia State Police Chase | Suspect In Jeep Grand Cherokee Tosses Firearm While Fleeing

The driver — identified by police as JEVON MARK, 23, of Reston — was taken into custody and charged with assault on a law enforcement officer, eluding police, throwing missiles, reckless driving and one felony count of hit and run. Police also detained and released two passengers in the vehicle, and the gun thrown out of the Jeep was found. Two Reston men are facing multiple charges — including attempted murder in one case — after allegedly getting involved in police pursuits on the Capital Beltway last Thursday (March 7). The chase began around 9:54 p.m. when a Virginia State Police trooper moved to stop a Jeep Cherokee SRT for reckless driving on I-495 near S. Van Dorn Street in Rose Hill, according to the Virginia State Patrol. “The Cherokee refused to stop for the trooper and a pursuit was initiated,” state police said. “During the course of the pursuit, the driver of the Jeep threw a firearm out the window. The firearm struck the ground and then the trooper’s vehicle.” After the chase got off the Beltway, the driver hit the trooper’s vehicle with the Jeep at the Braddock Road and Twinbrook Road intersection in the Kings Park West area, the VSP said. The Jeep ultimately came to a stop on Twinbrook Road.

Now in Prince William Co: PWCPD officer suddenly had someone in a car at gunpoint and then got "ran over" by the suspect as the suspect took off. Signal 1 was requested, I do not believe shots were fired. Not sure if this was a traffic stop or officers responding to a MVA, but the car was stolen. The officer believes his elbow is seriously injured.

Units continuing to investigate. Meanwhile, crashes are happening at an incredible rate across the area, with PWC alone seeing a crash every minute or two, most of them property damage-only single-vehicle crashes. Some pilelups too, though, with minor injuries. A PWCPD officer was rear-ended, no injuries.

FCPD Mason District -started as a domestic violence call this morning at 06:13am when a male attempted to drive his pickup truck into the home of his girlfriend at 7402 Add Drive. A neighbor and off duty FCPD officer was able to get her safely away. At this time, it is a barricade situation with the boyfriend in the home alone armed with a rifle. DPSC negotiator initiated contact with the subject, Sam Yung 32 years old. He hung up, and said to call back in 10 minutes after he was attempting to contact an attorney. Only charge at this time is misdemeanor destruction of property. Radio traffic switched now to Mason Ops 1 encrypted
