8:30p - armed robbery in Scott's Run Nature Preserve (McLean/District 3 station) on Georgetown Pike. Victim robbed at gunpoint by several suspects who fled on foot. Victim called police from a stranger's phone. FCPD unable to use the helo due to heavy tree canopy and apparently no K9 track either.

Yet another water rescue underway on the Potomac with as many as 4 people in the Potomac. More arguing over radio channels is underway, with FCFRD deciding to stay on their own channel instead of 7A4. BCs trying to sort it out. Eagle 1 is assisting. MCFRS, FCFRD, and LCFRS all on scene.
Update 1 - LCFRS is now on FCFRD's channel. One FFX unit seems to be on 7A4 now, but no one has told Loudoun that MCFRS doesn't want them (FFX apparently called them in, not Montgomery). Units are nearly at the victims, at least some of them.
Update 2 - 4 people, 2 dogs rescued, LCFRS is in service, units ensuring all are accounted for.

FCPD on scene of a shooting in Lorton, both District 2 and 6 as well as Major Crimes on scene. Male shot twice in the chest, airlifted to hospital conscious and breathing. Canvasing for suspect so far unsuccessful.
