Nothing Scans Now.

I lost my V-Scan file on my ws1040 nothing worked. I loaded a new Scanlist 01 with my county information. It loaded but does not scan. Any suggestion?

Is Scan List 1 enabled? Press the SCAN button. What software are you using? Please attach your programming file so we can take a look at it. You will need to zip the file to be able to attach it. Click on Attach files and open the zipped file.

Scan List 1 is enabled, all other scan lists are disabled and flashing on and off. I am using ARC500.

I use ARC500 also. If you attach your file, I can check it for programming errors.

I sent you a file. I have it working now. Thank you. I loaded my son- in-laws file from his scanner. My whistler 1040 is now working.

Glad to hear it's working. I don't see the file. Did you download your son-in-law's file into ARC500 or did you clone the scanners?

Yes I loaded his v-scanner file from his radio shack scanner. It works fine on my whistler. Yes I used ARC500 to load it.

Did not clone radio to radio. He sent me a zip file of his v-scanner file and I uploaded it to my scanner.
