BCT15: Nothing to scan

Need advice: got a bearcat bct15 for some reason I'm getting a message coming up saying nothing to scan none of my groups are there just the system when I plugged it into pc and upload the file to which I saved all the groups on the groups are there I've tried factory reset but same message I've hold in the wrong button and number 6 like some people have said and keypad won't let me

The OP indicates he is dealing with a BCT15. (Previous post history indicates this might actually be a BCT15X.)

What software are you using? You might post your programming file so that we can take a look & see if something seems out of place or incorrect. You would need to find your programming file on your PC, then <Right><Click> on it to get the option to compress the file into a *.zip file. Most programming files use a file extension not allowed for attaching to a post. However, once the file is 'zipped' (compressed), you can attach it to a post.

I'm using free scan

Does the bct15 x use quick keys? My bcd996p2 does and I seem to be quite good at messing them up with the results being nothing to scan.
