Job Title: Senior Radio Technician or Radio Tech Journeyman
Location: Reporting to the Bend, Oregon location with an office in Portland, Oregon
Service Area: Hood River and Wasco Counties, Oregon

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Radio Technician or Radio Tech Journeyman to join our team. This role is based in Bend, Oregon, with an office space in Portland.
The primary service area will include Hood River and Wasco Counties, focusing on both government and enterprise customers.
The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a strong technical background in radio communications who can think independently and proactively deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
-Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair radio communication systems for government and enterprise clients.
-Provide technical support to customers both remotely and on-site, ensuring seamless communication system functionality.
-Conduct site surveys, system design, and configuration for complex communication solutions.
-Maintain accurate documentation of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
-Collaborate with team members and clients to develop customized solutions.
-Proactively identify and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
-Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technology advancements, and best practices.
-Adhere to company safety protocols and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in radio communication systems (LMR, P25, trunked systems, microwave, etc.).
-Strong knowledge of radio frequency (RF) principles, diagnostics, and repair.
-Proven experience with government and enterprise communication systems.
-Ability to work independently, think critically, and solve complex technical problems.
-Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
-Willingness to travel as needed within the service area.
-Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
-Industry certifications (such as CET, GROL, or equivalent) are a plus.
