Occasional audio skip

On my county's dispatch channel, the audio will cut out/drop on occasion. My channel is simulcast and I have the PL enabled. The dispatch channel does gets "fringey" once and a while. I'm thinking its due to the fringe and the scanner thinking its receiving the frequency on another PL and blocks it out for a split second. Not a major issue, just seeing if any others had something similar happen.

Some of the GRE scanners have a harder time than most scanners picking out the PL tone especially if noise is present on the signal.

If you have an "HD5 Fade" in the expert settings menu, you may try to increase this value to see if it helps. A higher value allows audio to be heard longer when the PL is temporarily not received.
