I frequently like to use my 325P2 in my vehicle with an external antenna and powered through the USB connector with the internal batteries removed
However, whenever I power off/on the external power, the radio must be manually restarted.
Is there a software setting that will give a memory attribute to the power switch (if it's in the "off" state, it will stay off when power returns, if it's in the "on" state, it will turn on when the power returns without having to push the "on" button again).
Yes, I know leaving it on battery power and on all the time will accomplish this, but I don't like scanner audio coming out of an empty vehicle, nor do I want to run my batteries down. Plus, when I restart external power, the radio asks each time if I want it to go into charge mode.
Most of my older scanners had an analog switch that would stay on until turned off.
