Ogle County Trunked

Frequency 860.2125 out of oregon IL in Ogle county is some type of trunked system, dont know what type, anyone know anything about this system? Its in the FCC database just as a YP public safty trunked.

The license is to the state of Illinois. It would likely be part of the StarCom21 system eventually.

That was my guess, it was not one of the three frequencies listed for the oregon/ogle county site, though none of those three are an active control channels, so this may be the control channel as it is passing data. I can not program it into my 996t, as i understand it you need all the system data to get a P25 system working, it can not do control channel only.

That's the address of Ogle County's tower on the edge of Oregon on top of Liberty Hill. That frequency is used by the ISP.

On a few occasions lately,in the evenings I,ve heard ogle co. traffic on this freq.
which sounded like it was a rptr. also it wasn,t digital when I heard it.
Thought mayb a mobile extender?
