I was in OKC this weekend and experienced problems receiving several frequencies
(most markedly) the analog connection to OKCPD.on OKWIN.

The reception was very poor through the city, and I noticed, at times, there
was lack of continuity of conversation.

I was using my BCD396XT.

Some issues that I was wondering about (that someone might know about)
are:

1. I assume, that like most systems, you only must input the primary
control channel, and the alternatives (to be safe) and not the other 15 to 20)

2. Does anyone know what the difference is between the following band plans:

800/900 Standard

800 Splinter

Custom

After experimenting with band plans, I started receiving, what I think (not sure) was
EDCS....I think I selected 800/900 Standard.

I then began receiving TG's starting with "600" I could not find these in the database
to identify them.

Thank you to anyone who could provide feedback/help.

Thanks!

ps Why are the options 800/900 Standard 800 Splinter and Custom not listed on the heading
of each site info page....

Next to a scanner...
Have you updated your scanner since the sites have been rebanded? It sounds like you aren't getting the 851-854 frequencies...

I put a custom table in mine - didn't use the "standard" or "splinter" stuff in.

Go to the same area in the system programming and do custom table.
Table 1 - Base low = 851.025, Base high = 854.000, offset = 440, Polarity = +, Spacing = 25 kHz
Table 2 - Base low = 851.0125, Base high = 868.9875, offset = 0, Polarity = +, Spacing = 25 kHz
