I'm getting ready to take a trip down to Tx.
I will be travelling down 69.

Anyways, the DB for the OHP states,
All Troop L communications are on low band VHF.
On the Tulsa/DPS TRS there are 2 Troop L TGs listed, are these active?
Or which information should I go with?

I guess I'm programming my 96 kind of late :p
I will be leaving tonight between 12 and 2 am.

Both are active.
The way it looks on the map there is not coverage in all Troop L areas with the 800 system. both were working when I went through two weeks ago.

Troop L and X also still use the old radios also sometimes, usually just for car to car chit chat. And you hear them all the time on Roger County Sheriff 154.77000 pl 151.4

Slow down in Big Cabin...

it was a pretty good little trip....
didn't see any cops in Big Cabin, but I thought they almost got me coming down the big hill near Mc Allester(sp) in that construction zone, I hadn't slowed down yet, he clocked me and turned around but never did go after me...

that made my heart race...lol
