I have been doing some updated logging. I made this list as I compiled the information. It is a list of all the current trunked systems in Ontario. if I missed any or there are corrections post them here and I will update the list.

Sarnia doesn't have a trunking system. Fire and PD have their own repeaters all over the city. Just conventional P25
Why they don't have a trunking system is beyond me..

Sarnia PD/Fire P25 Encrypted conventional repeaters
CBSA Sarnia/Walpole simplex
Sarnia Jail simplex (Will be going TETRA with the other jails)
Lambton County FD VHF DMR conven simulcast
Windsor CBSA and Port Authority are on Windsors P25 system
HMCS Hunter VHF P25 enc simplex
Essex county roads dept are on POC radios
LaSalle PD NXDN conven
Kingsville FD analog+DMR enc conven
Highbury Canco Leamington is UHF DMR 3 standalone repeaters for capacity but not in trunking due to the low teir radios dont support it
Leamington FD analog+DMR enc conven (will be going UHF DMR Cap Max in a week or two)
All essex county fire are DMR UHF connect plus but will be going capacity max encrypted in a week or two)
Amhurstburg PD is VHF P25 enc patched with windsor police 800mhz P25 trunking system
Amhurstburg FD and Tecumseh FD will be going onto the windsor P25 system in the near future
Cholchester Guardian Coast Guard Aux boat is VHF DMR Enc on a 3 site linked system
Pelee Island FD is also part of the above network
Middlesex FD analog
Elgin FD VHF DMR conven
Oxford FD VHF DMR conven
Brant County FD VHF DMR conven
Huron FD VHF DMR conven
Grey County FD VHF DMR conven IP site connected

Been away for awhile, so if I read correctly that all Essex County fire, including Kingsville and Leamington will soon be encripted and gone also? Or am I reading this wrong.

All Essex County will be going encrypted any day now. Kingsville refuses to join the UHF system and pay rental fees since they own their VHF system (much like Leamington owns their VHF system but are leaving that to pay a monthly rental fee to join the UHF system) so Kingsville will be staying VHF analog+DMR, but will be upgrading to full DMR with encryption at some point.

It would be great if you could add the flavour of digital being used, in addition to any encryption algo's being used, and by which agency on that system.

I have updated the trunked systems list. Thanks to a suggestion from a member I have included the obsolete Ontario systems(orange background). I have also included the strong USA systems located just across the border (yellow background). Finally I have included the Inversion systems often heard (green background). I can use some help in IDing these green systems.

As always any updates or additional systems etc would be appreciated.
