I'll give a go tonight and report back thanks!

Brandon, didn't you figure out the new Fallsview DMR a while back? I can't remember if they were in fact using EP or BP

Yes, I did. I am pretty sure they are probably using EP, but my DSD+ just kept reading it as BP for some reason. I was told in that forum thread that this is a common issue though.

I was also able to confirm via the packets I picked up that they were using IP Site Connect (IPSC) via the two sites. This could be for many different reasons, but I know that they share security personnel between the two sites.

I have attempted to listen to them since originally figuring out their system back in June. Here's a link to that thread so we are getting any/all of the data mixed up: Fallsview Casino Switched from LTR to Capacity Plus.

I've noticed the same "BP" issue when monitoring Square One. I'll have to travel out to Fallsview one day and collect some data

As for @mtindor's suggestion. Thank you! That was very helpful! No more errors from what I can see from my 1R menu bootup. If I stand corrected, the issue seems to be that a network entry needed to be created within the NETWORKS file?

I can head over that way tomorrow afternoon and so some monitoring on that system... then I can submit my findings over on that thread. However, the last point I will make about the Casino's systems is this...

I used to be able to hear it all around Niagara Falls. However, I am not far from Clifton Hill, and I can almost barely hear the systems now. It's almost like there was an output power decrease on the system too.

Yes that is correct, replacing the original "0" that you had with "L1"

This morning I am seeing a bunch of "private data calls" on the Lincoln tower between RID's in the 10xxx range and a new RID of 1 with a very few private voice calls sprinkled in between.

Matt

I am seeing a whole slew of Private data calls. Whoever 30300 and their users are used to use private voice calls all the time but now seems to have switched to private data calls.

I have seen a lot of these type of messages especially when there is not a lot of traffic.
2025/09/19 05:56:45 Freq=420.162500 DCC=0 RAS NAK: TARGET NOT REGISTERED Tgt=3274 Src=65534

Today I noticed..
2025/09/19 16:11:19 Freq=420.162500 DCC=0 RAS Private data call; Tgt=10009 Src=65534 Ch=62

So I am not sure what that RID of 65534 is.. a controller maybe?

Just started to tune into the Niagara Falls tower again and not only am I seeing Switzer-Carty heavily active, but I am now seeing LLRP and Private Data Calls too.

However, as the name suggests "private data", and listing to my SDS that is setup to decode any talkgroups that pop up, nothing is being heard. These have to be some kind of data packets for something. but I am almost certain they aren't voice private calls as previously thought.

The LLRP and private data calls are showing up for 32xx RIDs too. Which is consistent with Switzer-Carty.

Listening to the Frequencies in Conventional Mode on my Uniden 436 Scanner and loged this information.

I think he is showing that 420.675 (talk site 1 voice 1) is seen as a TIII system by the BCD436/536 scanners

Thought there might be some information showing up that would be helpful, if not please disregard, I will not post any more info like this.

Nah man! You’re good. Just wasn’t sure if you were trying to point something specific out or not. That’s all.

I also agree with Brandon. Posting screen captures and other C&P data helps all of us. Sometimes we just need to know what is new or specific so we can interpret it properly.

I am receiving Site 2 tonight as well as Niagara Falls site and the Lincoln site. If I had to take a stab I would have to say that Site 2 looks like the St Catharines license is correct for it. The NF site is coming in around the same strength as St Catharines site with the Lincoln site coming in a some what stronger then those two.
