Looks like the RRDB shows it as Tier III non-standard. That would be correct. But if it is a CAPMAX system it should probably be set as that. Of course you won't know if it's CAPMAX unless you see (MOT) at the bottom left of DSDplus or if you use SDRTRunk and it indicates Capacity Max. DSDPlus / SDTRunk users probably should monitor one of those sites to determine if it is CAPMAX.

During the last couple of weeks of monitoring this system, I put it into my DSD+ manually. Here's a screenshot of the window from right now.

The [MOT] at the bottom left indicates it is Motorola, and thus a Capacity Max system.

Thanks, on your recommendation, I have corrected it to Capacity Max.

I am in the South end of Fort Erie Just beside the Peace Bridge, I have not been able to receive any signals at all on the other sites, but for last night I picked up one bar of signal on the Lincoln site. but nothing now on any of the other sites.

Fort Erie and Milton have the same frequency of 420.175. You say no signal down there in Fort Erie but I get a strong one up here near Toronto.

You're welcome.

To be honest, I never realized there was a Tier III Non-Standard option that wasn't Capacity Max, but makes sense to me now knowing that there are other DMR TIII Non-Standard systems that are not Capacity Max (such as Selex / Leonardo)

The 420.1750 is licensed for both Fort Erie and Milton.. I assumed it was Fort Erie but it looks like it is actually up in Milton and not Fort Erie.

Thanks Matt, I am not picking up anything for over 10 hours, just one tg and 2 seconds of audio.

I have had DSD+ running on the Lincoln tower for the past week.. which is the only one I can pick up. But I usually usually only see Switzer active and the garden place (the seem to use private calls more than their tg of 30300). There is sometimes more activity but today seemed to be a more typical day and the Lincoln tower was pretty quiet, for example today between 3pm and 4:15pm all the activity I saw on that tower were a couple private calls.

I can pick up Milton and St. Catharines reliably, that is how I discovered the voice channels for those sites. Mostly Switzer-Carty Dispatch. Lincoln and Niagara Falls are weak signals into Toronto.

Hmm I am wondering where 420.1250 is.. there is a site in Port Colborne, not St Catharines on that freq.. I had them flipped around and St Cath is the one on 420.0250.

TX420.12500Bethel, ON - Miller Rd and 3rd ConcessionTALK WIRELESS INC.0001575080
RX420.12500NIAGARA-HAMILTONTALK WIRELESS INC.0001575087

The Niagara-Hamilton site is somewhere close to Wellandport. 420.0250 is licensed to Dunnville and St Catharines and so is 420.3500.

Also tonight I am picking up both the Lincoln and Niagara Falls sites and both have a very decent signal. Also I am seeing a weak signal on both 420.0250 and 420.1250 but not enough to decode.

Today Niagara Falls has been extremely busy with Switzer-Carty, and the golf course.

I think the golf course is preparing for a tournament, because even Legends on the Niagara (on the Cap+ system) was extremely active today too.

Some traffic that was heard on the Capacity Max (Tier III) system was someone talking about getting sponsor signs up at the holes.

From the looks of some of the frequencies, this seems to be the same as the ET Fusion Freqs. I'm guessing it's the same system.

And of course when I try to input the Info into DSD+ it doesn't like it. Telling me it's an invalid system...

Try the following (you can massage what you currently have, or replace your existing Talk Wireless TIII entries with a copy/paste):

Code:
; add to DSDPlus.networks file
TIIInonStd,L1,"Talk Wireless DMR (TIII)"

; add to DSDPlus.sites file
TIIInonStd,L1,1,"Niagara Falls"
TIIInonStd,L1,2,"Port Colborne"
TIIInonStd,L1,3,"Lincoln"
TIIInonStd,L1,4,"St. Catharines"
TIIInonStd,L1,5,"Milton"
TIIInonStd,L1,6,"Dunnville"

; add to DSDPlus.frequencies file
TIIInonStd,L1,1,13,420.0625,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,1,111,420.675,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,2,7,420.025,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,3,29,420.1625,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,3,61,420.3625,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,4,23,420.125,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,4,65,420.375,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,5,31,420.175,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,5,77,420.4625,0.0,0
TIIInonStd,L1,6,59,420.35,0.0,0

Looking at my "by frequency DMR list"

I see this:

420.37500 L1 Talk Wireless 4 32 65/66 7K60FXE St Catherines/Bethel Voice CC-0
420.37500 Niagara Falls Entertainment 11K0F3EJN Niagara Falls

420.67500 L1 Talk Wireless 1 111/112 TIII 7K60FXEXN Niagara Falls Voice CC-0
420.67500 Niagara Falls Entertainment 11K0F3EJN Niagara Falls

If the casino is still active I suspect the the casino will be migrated to the local Talk Wireless site or moved to new frequencies.

Neither one of the Casinos (Casino Niagara or Fallsview Casino) have ever been through Talk Wireless as far as I know. They have their own licensing, radio techs, etc. However, that's not to say they didn't purchase their repeaters or radios through them.

With that said, I HIGHLY doubt either one of those casinos will be upgrading any time soon. Within the last year, they just switched from LTR analog to DMR Capacity Plus encrypted.

LOL, nice to see that they are spending the profits so diligently. That makes it more interesting that Talk Wireless is using the same frequencies in the same area. Even with the Casino being an inhouse, I would expect a little localized interference between the systems.

Brandon, didn't you figure out the new Fallsview DMR a while back? I can't remember if they were in fact using EP or BP
