Optimizing Scanning for Oakland P25

I recently set up my RS Pro-652 to broadcast OPD P1, 2, 3 on Broadcastify to fill the gap that happened recently.

I don't totally understand the P25 system. Most of the activity I hear comes in loud and clear, but a few broadcasts are choppy and unintelligible. I'm wondering if there is a way to lock the scanner to the nearest broadcasting antenna and still get all traffic. I'm located near Broadway and West MacArthur. If this is possible, what would my nearest antenna be?

I'd say it wouldnt be worth the effort. Oaklands system is garbage and very few can monitor it correctly/efficiently.

they plan to go to the EBRCS soon and you will have much better luck listening.
