output frequency

Hi i am new to this and i am trying to find out how you find the output frequency i have got a ubc780xlt scanner and i live in the uk i can here the base but i cant hear the mobiles and i have been told if i use the output frequency i will hear both the base and the mobiles. Can anyone please help me. Thanks

Output frequencies ONLY apply to repeater systems. If what you are listening to is not on a repeater, there is no output frequency.

Absolutely correct. And since we are woefully short of data in the UK portion of the DB, we can't really guess.
