P25 Audio optimization

I have attempted to adjust the P25 threshold by following the printed instructions. I can see the setting is 'AUTO' but can't find a way to change it so I can adjust. I tried system options for conventional and site options, but can't finfd any p25 threshold....Any ideas?

Try powering the unit on while pressing hold. Then find 'P25 Threshold' under the settings menu. That's how I get to it on my 996P2.

Were you able to manually set the threshold level for the 325 and, if so, did it keep that setting or revert to "Auto" when you turned the scanner off and back on again.

I'm beginning to think that the P25 Adjustment Mode instructions on pages 83 and 84 of the owner's manual were inadvertently transplanted from the 436/536 manual. They simply don't work on the 325, which I'm told is based on the BCD396XT. The 396XT only allowed "Auto" adjustments.
