P25 Hunting

Hello

I'm network hunting DMR/NXDN/P25 on my 436

I found a P25 Control Channel (steady DAT indicator) and another frequency a few Mhz away with LNK every now and then.
Thru discovery I found 5 Talkgroups. 4 of which are encrypted (ENC being displayed). The 5th TG doesn't display the ENC but all I get is the indication that somebody is talking (including the radio-id). No sound.
As I did see the PT0 and PT1 I also programmed the two freqs as a P25-Phase II. same thing.

Synching back to the computer in sentinel I can see a Bandplan. Identical in both cases

Any ideas?

I have lots of ideas, but none relating to your post. Location and frequencies would greatly assist people in having any helpful ideas.

Are you outside of the USA? If not, have you checked the RRDB to see if your findings are listed?

If you are trying to scan a P25 system in the East of UK that is listed on RR database then a good many channels are encrypted. You do see user id but no voice.
