What appears as a single site in the database may actually be multiple subsites all transmitting on the same frequency at the same time. The only way to try to isolate one subsite is to use a directional antenna. You can also try turning on the attenuator to reduce the number of subsites received to improve control channel decoding. Most of the sites on the RWC trunked system are simulcast. The only scanners specifically designed to receive simulcast sites are the Uniden SDS100 and SDS200. The Unication G4 and G5 pagers also do an excellent job but can receive only one system and one site at a time.
