p25 single channels bcd396t

does anybody know if the uniden bcd396t can decode p25 voice conventional channels???
for EXAMPLE.....

Belleville, City of

Frequency Description Mode

142.03500: Police 1 Dispatch P25 --------------- Can the 396t handle the
143.11500: Police 2 Dispatch P25 ---------------- 4 p25 channels?
140.13000: Police 3 TAC FM
154.26500: Fire - Stations 3 and 4 P25 ----------------
169.84500: Fire - Stations 1 and 2 P25 ----------------

Do I need the 396xt to decode these? Or can I decode them with the 396t??

I believe everything back to the BC250 and BC785 will do P25 conventional.

Belleville Police is P-25 Digital in the clear (NOT encrypted) so the 396t or the PRO-96 receives the 3 PD channels clear . as well as the 2 FD channels, was there today..
just remember if you're travelling from Belleville east towards Montreal, the Cornwall PD freq is the same as Belleville BUT encrypted. so if it's in your radio you'll get garble on that freq from around Morrisburg to the Quebec border..

Thanks for the update. I do get to the Prescott area from time to time now but try to stear clear of Cornwall. I'll give it a try as I have both radios and thought you needed the newst Uniden. Cheers!
