I am running _1938 on our LSM Phase-1 System for 30-minutes now. Not sure if specific to _1938, but noticed that each received voice message typically starts at a slightly lower volume and increases to normal volume after about 1/2 second while connected to laptop (PC Audio Disabled) with line out audio.

_1938 locked up after 35 minutes running. PC + Speakers
On to testing 03-09_0402...

Try increasing the audio agc rate:
$ agc2 0.7 0.2 (rate of 0.2, default is 0.1)
$ save

1938 lost USB connection sometime overnight, reverted back to 1047. This version seemed to run best for me. I am running this on an HP Pavilion dm4 Laptop, with a whopping three (3) whole USB Ports. Not exactly a speed demon, but not a bad machine given its age. FWIW.

Also, regarding the audio starting low. On the Cobb System, some of the users produce a rather loud "bump" when they key up. This seems to drive the audio AGC down initially, before it recovers. I have started changing the AGC2 settings to try to get it to recover from these bumps.

Good point about the initial noise on the key up. Might be good to take that into consideration for the agc. The rate could ramp up for a period of time after the voice grant.

Started 1402 @ 0758.
Sorry, just bumped the version to _0457. The audio was choppy in _0402. Not real active here yet, but _0457 is definitely sounding better.

0457 loaded, and running here. Will report back after a bit. As BTT Noted, a speaker on the Line out jack continues to produce audio even when this "lock up" (or loss of communication) happens. You would never know anything was wrong when listening on the wired speaker.

A casual note, it seems like the PC/USB Audio and the wired speaker audio are closer together in timing in 0457 (Less echo, when both are on)

0457, PC USB audio went away after about 30 minutes. Line out continued to play. I am going to try 0457 with a different USB Port. Edit: and different USB cable.

Lost 0457 on a different USB port and cable. The log shows this happened without any voice grant, just the normal "idle" status. Back on 1047 which has been running smooth for a while now.

Edit: BTConfig showed a "green" Signal LED, no RF Level, and no USB/PC audio. Line out continued to run fine.

I never did have a USB lock-up with _0402 or _0457, so I appreciate the help with testing this. The issue is definitely due to the recent changes, but there are also improvements. Testing _0728.

Got a report of _0728 USB lock-up. Trying _0753. If this version fails, I may have to move on to finishing hw and shipping with the previous stable (02-24_1047) for now.

0457 software keeps locking up on my PC, although the radio continues to run (bluetooth speaker connection).

Also: under the CFG tab, all the options are always greyed out.

The Button CFG tab functionality isn't implemented yet, so the options are greyed out for now.

W4KRR: There are some newer versions on the website. Try the version ending in 0753. If you are talking about the "Button CFG" tab, I dont think those options are fully implemented yet. Mine are grey too.

Thanks. I know there are always new versions! I just can't keep up! :D

Suggestion: The display on the lower left on the main page, showing the active talkgroup, alias, etc. I would like to see that with the ability to be made bigger, easier to see. Maybe with the ability to make custom fonts and colors. Maybe on a seperate tab, just for such a display.
