@btt Hi there, I can't fully prove this but figured I would report it as I see it... I have two p25rx on win10. Both running 2022-02-10-1045 Over the last month or so they locked up every 1-2 weeks to the point I lost my remote access to them., I'm back north they are in FL so I VNC to them. Just a blank black screen I couldn't get around. Last time I rebooted I turned off scrolling and they have been running without incident for 3 weeks so far. If that changes I'll mea culpa and let you know.

edit to this: the reason I slightly suspect the BT scrolling is the Broadcastify feeds stay active but with no audio from the BTConfig. I'm running the BTConfig to Virtual Audio ports to the Broadcastify.
@btt Just another quick update, I am heading down to FL from NH Friday, the two P25rx have been running with no lockups as long as scrolling is off. They have been running for months now without touching them..

I have the P25RX-II up on the testing bench. I've noticed that the audio is generally good when connected through the host PC and using the PC's audio system, both output to the HDMI speakers and a Bluetooth speaker connected to the host. Recordings on the host computer are good. However, if I run the audio signal from the device audio jack or connect wirelessly to the speaker through the device's Bluetooth interface, the audio is warbly. Is there a setting that I can adjust or a command that I can send to the device? It doesn't seem to be a audio gain issue as I tried small adjustments in the software that don't seem to make a difference.

This is probably the wrong thread seeing as we're talking about -IIs... but, now that I think about it, I agree. And I never knew that my new Dell PC would transmit Bluetooth too. Night and day difference. Maybe overdriving the P25RX-II Bluetooth input? I see in ADV_BTCFG-II-2022-09-02_0639 there's no adjustment for Bluetooth volume.

@btt. I primarily use my P25RX-II, but I got my original P25RX out today and was going to update the firmware and run the latest software for it, but it seems that the original P25RX web page is missing (error 404) and I can't get the latest software for it. I didn't know if you were aware that the P25RX page was not working, but thought I'd let you know.

Thanks for alerting me to that. I must have accidentally wiped that out when adding some new links to that section. It should be back to normal now.

Not sure if I have seen this asked about before. On Harris P25 systems they use Supergroups to patch several talk groups together. The P25RX shows these as an unknown talkgroup with no reference to the patched talkgroups. Data dump from Pro96com below shows the patches. Would it be possible to dynamically replace the supergroup with the patched groups for logs and Display view?

Harris supergroups are (always?) assigned tgs in the 65xxx range, with some variations between installations / configurations. What is the radio showing - just the Supergroup tgid? The radio / software would need to correlate several frames of data sent at different times to build the relationship between the supergroup and member ("patched") tgs. Interesting problem but doable.

That's what I did. I defined tg 65101 -> 65200 for my particular Harris system and named them "Patch", discovered by P25RX, for my OP25 Pi.

I've been naming the tg in the 65100 range "patch" which eliminates the "unknown talkgroup". Right now only the PD is using the patches but in the future others groups that patch that I'm not interested in listening to, will come through. The problem is the supergroup changes for each patch even if members are the same.

In Harris systems, the Supergroups are dynamically assigned, meaning they will not always be the same tgid. Moto system’s also do this for users who roams onto another system via ISSI.

On the sds 100 it shows the supergroup TG that's it's patch with.

A minor feature request- I use PC Audio to monitor my P25RX at work. Is it possible now or would it be possible to have the ability to pan the audio to left or right? I am bringing in audio via proscan exclusively to my right speaker, I'd love to push the PC audio from my P25RX over to the left.

This should be doable with the P25RX. It does have separate left/right audio paths. I'll try to get this done within the next couple of days.

And the next logical extension would be the ability to set Left, Right or Center audio per TG / channel (or Zone)... :)

I for one, wish not to be greeted with the THX sound every time I start my P25RX. :D
I'm not going to be adding that, but I did run across this really cool link a few years back related to that. It is an interesting read.

That was a very interesting read! I had no idea about the history and how it came about back in 1983 and was recreated for todays sound systems.
