Millard County has moved to narrow band. Since that time I have heard no Motorola pager tone over the air when EMS/Fire is paged out. Anyone have an answer?

Millard County.

In searching the FCC database I found the following:

152.0075 is a pager frequency for Fire and EMS or it is listed on the FCC database as such. Callsign WQMY772

I also noticed this while returning from the St. George area last weekend when Holden Fire got paged out to a car fire near the south interchange. I also didn't hear any traffic on 151.235 which is the UHP Cricket Mtn repeater. It is now 154.1675 callsign as it was before WQEK824 bit the old freq is not listed under that callsign.

I also found FCC Licenses for UCAN: a site at Cedar Mtn north of Fillmore and White Pine south of Fillmore near the Sevier County line. Not sure if Millard SO is joining UCAN but it may explain the new pager freq.

Hope this helps as I have friends in the Delta and Fillmore areas.

Thanks

Thanks for the input.

Millard County has been paging and dispatching UHP/Sheriff/EMS/Fire over 2 frequencies for over the past 25 years. Sheriff channel 2 = 154.995R & Channel 4 = 155.685R. Channel 2 is located in Fillmore on Cedar Mountain and Channel 4 is transmitted on numerous hilltop repeaters (Notch Pk, Larsen Pk, Beesting Pk).

The County has used Motorola Minitor V 2 tone pagers transmitted over the air on both frequencies.

Today, April 12, 2011, at about noon, Delta and Eskdale Ambulance was called out for a broken leg in Gandy. No 2 tone pager heard for Delta. But the Eskdale Motorola 2 tone pages were there.

The only thing I can figure is that Eskdale EMS has not been converted . But converted to what?

Thanks to Junior1970 Page tones found

I have been monitoring 152.0075 (152.005) all afternoon. I have found that pages from EMS/Fire in Central Utah have moved to this frequency, also there is a 100Hz PL tone on this frequency from time to time.
Thanks again to Junior1970

You're welcome! Thank you for pointing out this situation. I am currently modifying my program load for my radios and want to have all my info done before I load the radios before I set out to my summer destinations.

This is good to know.
Thanks.
