aparently the answer you are looking fopr is right under your nose in your pager. take the pager apart and read reeds small relays that are attached to the pager. the freq should be printed on them. then listen to find out which is the a tone and which is the b tone. the other thing you could try is by going to the local radio shop that supplies the pagers and ask them.

Tone reeds? LOL the last pager that had reeds was the original Minitor back in the 80s. The Minitor II had permafilters, and those haven't been around in nearly a quarter century. Every modern pager since the early 2000s is fully synthesized.

Anyway judging by all of the posts the OP has made inquiring about multiple county's tones, he's trying to compile a list of every agency he can, not just his own dept.

Thank thats exactly what I'm trying to do but I don't have a good software that will decode them and I've tried to find some good softwares but the one I haven't tried is comtek and it's 49.95 to buy it so I'm wondering if anyone has any other suggestions I've tried radio ID audacity and some others and just doesn't seem right

ComTekk does work well... it will save the tones logged into an excel spreadsheet and also record the audio so you can listen back and hear what department is dispatched on the call and associate it with the tone.
If you have a uniden BCT15x or similar scanner and the proscan software which is also 50 bucks you can accomplish the same thing, with the added benefit of being able to use proscan to program your scanner.

TwoToneDetect. It's now branded as IAmResponding, but is still maintained and is available as a free download. Set it up and watch the log files for the tones you want. If you find an old version, there was a companion app that was specifically for logging the tones and recording audio so you can identify the page.

YouTube comes through for the rescue on this, I found this after much digging in a YouTube description showing off TwoToneDetect. If you don't want to tackle that long drawn out TwoToneDetect Iamresponding registration, the direct download links are provided below:

https://twotonedetect.net/downloads/TwoToneDetect71.zip (Version 7.1)
https://twotonedetect.net/downloads/TwoToneDetect70.zip (Version 7.0)
https://twotonedetect.net/downloads/TwoToneDetect69.zip (You get the idea)

Considering these are all older versions, I would imagine they are not updating the old twotonedetect.com domain and these direct download links will disappear if they chose to take them offline or if they let the domain expire.

There's a better alternative to the old and problematic Two Tone Detect. It's called FD-Tone-Notify and it runs in Node.js . GitHub - kjdElectronics/fd-tone-notify: FD Tone Notify is Dispatch Tone Notification Software for Fire Departments and Enthusiasts

If anyone ventures to find the "right tone" and it's not published, be aware that you should do so on the computer that will be used to detect the tones. Because if it's not, audio hardware can vary from computer to computer and as such the detection of what you thought was such and such tone may be way off from one computer to another. This goes for any and all audio hardware used... Believe me, I know...

The Radio ID app for Android works pretty well on both live broadcast tones and recorded audio.
Iv been using this for quite a few years and works great for decoding 2 tone and mdc1200. Its my go to app for decoding tones and so simple. Tone goes off just need to have your phone open with the app and shows on the screen instantly. Easy as can be and has been 100% accurate the 100's of times iv used it

Unfortunately I don't think the app is available any longer. I got a new phone and it didn't transfer over and it doesn't show up on the Google Play store.
