Paging network recommendations?

I was considering signing up for one of the incident paging networks such as IPN or CIFN. I'd like to find the one that covers IL (mainly Central IL) and then also does nationwide big events. Can anyone make any first-hand recommendations on this? I posted in the Illinois forum about this, but was referred here since there's a paging network in Colorado. Thanks!

Yeah, that's one I was inquiring about. I wanted someone who has used it to report back on it. It looks like a decent service, I just don't know how well it's covered in my area.

I can tell you -IPN- is pretty decent. But I don't pay for it, :twisted: I learned on the 17 th. that F-16s where tracking a plane over DC. from IPN.
