The 8499xxxx UIDs are FAU PD Units. They will use the LE Comm Channels when working with outside PDs such as Delray.
Yes sir you are correct. When responding back I put one too many "x" in UID should be 7 digits not 8. Sorry!
I found the answer so you can disregard. What are the freqs for the Village of North Palm Beach and is it encrypted? Thanks.
I don't believe they can host Tac Channels if using broadcastify unless they changed that rule?I wish someone would host a feed with all the tac channels , the dispatch channel doesn’t carry them
They can, PBCFR refers to all of thier channels as “tac” for example dispatch is TAC6A, and then units switch to a predetermined ops channels for example TAC2A. Large scale events such as a structure fire will operate on TAC7A or 8A if 7a is already in use.I don't believe they can host Tac Channels if using broadcastify unless they changed that rule?
They did some reprogramming and changed some of the frequencies. I re-downloaded the full database and made a new "Profile" for PBCFR. Works great now everywhere but W. Wellington... I get Boynton / Boca system but not PBCFR. Good Luck !!Last weekend, i was in Palm Beach County and tried listening to the PBCFR Talkgroups with my BCD436HP. It seemed like i was missing about 1/2 of the radio traffic. I had only had Tac 1A - Tac13A programmed. I programmed it using Sentinel. I'm not sure if its because the 436 is just that bad with simulcast systems or if I was just in a bad area for reception. Any suggestions, besides getting the SDS100 for further visits there.
Thanks in Advance
I'll throw my 2c in. I am in Pompano and have the SDS100 profile I programed 2 years ago, control channels only don't look like they have changed. I generally don't have it active as I miss too much on Broward. But in response to this I activated it with no mods and immediately got PBCFR tac 2a 5a and 6a within 10 seconds and Boca Raton. I suspect Simulcast as I had a brand new 436 that was a paperweight and put my tail between my legs and bought a sds100 and two P25rx for Broward Broadcastify feeds. I'll add if you just go infrequently or don't want to mortgage your house, the new MicroP25rx or originals are a great solution. I have two P25rx for my Broward feeds. I would update to the Micro but doesn't make sense.

It's not that bad (OK, maybe it is) . I have two p25rx the originals. A very small P25P2 receiver that works spectacular with simulcast. The new micro is redesigned due to parts availability and apparently is near perfect audio quality the original is pretty darn good. The guy who invented, designed and built it is a RF wizard and his support of the product is without equal. there is a thread on this for it.OK, that web site is a hot mess. They start in the middle of the story talking about minutiae without ever describing what the product is.
So...WHAT IS IT?
It's not that bad (OK, maybe it is) .
I get it. I have nothing to do with the company or site. I have 2 of the original P25rx and they work fabulous. And reading the forum over the past year the -II and the new Micro are even better.A product web site that does not clearly describe the product is a Bad Thing.
All I saw was a dark rectangle with what appeared to be a long connector and some explanation of how you can't order right now because it's out of stock or sumpin. He assumes you already know why you landed on that page, which is a bad assumption if you want to sell them to more people.
Only Micros are available, and they would not be an upgrade. If you can find a P25RX / P25RX-II used, those would be the way to go.I'll throw my 2c in. Yea, the website is a mess - Todd (the developer) needs to work on it, but he is a one-man show and very busy. The Micro is a brand new device that was developed because certain parts of the original P25RX / RX-IIs became unobtainium due to supply chain issues. It's basically a pcb with connectors for antenna, USB-C power, uSD, and a 40 pin bus where one attaches a Wio Terminal (available separately from third parties) to program and control its functions. It is not PC controllable at this point. Very much a work in progress, but it has a base of diehard supporters.A product web site that does not clearly describe the product is a Bad Thing.
