Help please

I live in the Hartsville area(Darlington County). I have a Radioshack Pro-106 scanner, and was listening to everything just fine until this switch over. I have read and spent several hours trying to make it work once again. I do have the ARC500 software to be able to make changes.

What do I need to do to make it work? I have already tried adding the P25 talk groups, etc. but still not picking up anything but the conventional channels.

Thanks in advance!

It's difficult to know what to add to the DB when one receives conflicting information from multiple sources. I had someone in the Goose Creek area say site 13 is carrying North Charleston FD and PD, Sheriff North, etc. I worked that information into the DB before another set of information indicating Site 13 is near Ravenel and is identified as Parkers Ferry.

And so the hunt continues, LOL. I also noticed limited talkgroups coming over that site. Mostly Charleston SO North and CC EMS.

13 was an expansion coverage for northern areas of Charleston County to fill in gaps etc the simulcast didn't completely cover. I thought they also had an Eastern expansion stand alone also?

What usage? Can't be added to db unknown. Except encrytpted ones that there is no clue. Though there are clues to those also. If anyone logged rids and follows patterns.

I just posted a few talkgroups for Aiken County.

If anyone can confirm additional talkgroups for SCHP Troop 7, Augusta-Richmond County, Bamberg Co (they might be all conventional still), Orangeburg County, and Aiken County, that will be very helpful.

We have most of the Troop 7 sites identified, but it's always helpful to get confirmation that the active control channel frequencies are accurately indicated.

As others have indicated, it is probably reasonable to assume that Aiken County talkgroups are in the 20500-20999 range. Augusta-Richmond County is probably in the 55000-55499 range.

Can someone put in simple steps change over instructions. I have spent hours trying to change my Radio Shack scanners over to the new trunking system.
