Hello. I'm coming from an old school scanner that I've had for years to a "newer" digital scanner. I'm using RR and those databases to import frequencies into my BCD996P2 and seem to be getting most of the systems up and running. The only one I can't seem to hear is the Parkersburg FD. I've tried pulling it into my conventional system like my first picture and nothing. I've also tried importing the City of Parkersburg LTR from RR and still nothing from ID's. For anyone who is able to pick them up, can you provide any tips or something I may be doing wrong? Thanks!PFD1.JPG

The DB says 153.785, P25, with a NAC of 19D

The LTR systems information in the database hasn't been updated in 10-15 years. Don't count on any of it being correct. If it works, great. But they might not even exist anymore (the LTR systems).

Thanks for the info on LTR. I'm learning something new every day. It still baffles me that I can hear a trooper in Charleston but can't seem to get the FD to work, lol.

OK, yeah nothing to do with issue at hand...
  • ALT PAT - The light pattern used when the emergency flag is set. Values are slow or fast blink (source here)
And you aren't hearing anything on the LTR system?
No, nothing on the LTR. I am using a telescopic antenna but I'm only 5 miles or so out of the city so I'd think I'd pick something up. My coax and fittings got here just a bit ago and I was able to test my old discone antenna which does still pick up good signals. Maybe once I get that in place I'll be able to hear them. I can't think of any other way to set them up in my scanner. It's exactly the same way I have the SO and they're coming through loud and clear for me.
