If it helps in solving your puzzle ... the MPT-1327 control channel identifier is made up of a 15-bit field that tells you the network, zone, tower and access label. You can find a description of these in the MPT1327 spec.:
5081 = 1 01 00001 0000 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #1
5091 = 1 01 00001 0010 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #3
50A9 = 1 01 00001 0101 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #6
50B1 = 1 01 00001 0110 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #7
50C1 = 1 01 00001 1000 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #9
50D1 = 1 01 00001 1010 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #11
50D9 = 1 01 00001 1011 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #12
50E1 = 1 01 00001 1100 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #13
50F9 = 1 01 00001 1111 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #16
5109 = 1 01 00010 0001 001 = Network #2, Zone #3, Tower #2
5111 = 1 01 00010 0010 001 = Network #2, Zone #3, Tower #3

Denny
Outstanding Denny, thank you! As you can see I don't know MPT-1327 very well and am kind of learning as I go with TrunkView (not many of these systems in California!).
I believe we just confirmed 50B1 as Mt Tamalpais in Marin County. Would that work with the location of your receiver Bill? Also according to the license, 5081 could be located at the Petaluma sub-station and not Sonoma Mountain, but Sonoma Mountain seems more likely due to the signal strength.
Breaking everything into zones:
Zone 2 - North SF Bay Area:
5081 = 1 01 00001 0000 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #1 -- Petaluma Sub-Station/Sonoma Mtn
5089 = 1 01 00001 0001 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #2
5091 = 1 01 00001 0010 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #3
50A9 = 1 01 00001 0101 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #6
50B1 = 1 01 00001 0110 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #7 -- Mt Tamalpais
50C1 = 1 01 00001 1000 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #9
50D1 = 1 01 00001 1010 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #11
50D9 = 1 01 00001 1011 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #12
50E1 = 1 01 00001 1100 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #13
50F9 = 1 01 00001 1111 001 = Network #2, Zone #2, Tower #16
Zone 3: Possibly another sector of the bay area, or central valley.
5109 = 1 01 00010 0001 001 = Network #2, Zone #3, Tower #2
5111 = 1 01 00010 0010 001 = Network #2, Zone #3, Tower #3
5119 = 1 01 00010 0011 001 = Network #2, Zone #3, Tower #4
Zone 8: Butte County / Northern Central Valley
5399 = 1 01 00111 0011 001 = Network #2, Zone #8, Tower #4
53A9 = 1 01 00111 0101 001 = Network #2, Zone #8, Tower #6
53B1 = 1 01 00111 0110 001 = Network #2, Zone #8, Tower #7
(One of those is probably Sutter Buttes, since one of the old PG&E 800 MHz LTR sites was there.)
Zone 9: Western Sierra?
5411 = 1 01 01000 0010 001 = Network #2, Zone #9, Tower #3 -- Osborne Hill (Grass Valley)
Zone 10:
54B9 = 1 01 01001 0111 001 = Network #2, Zone #10, Tower #8
54C1 = 1 01 01001 1000 001 = Network #2, Zone #10, Tower #9
54E1 = 1 01 01001 1100 001 = Network #2, Zone #10, Tower #13
Zone 13: Northern coast? (Only seen as neighbor of Sonoma county site)
5631 = 1 01 01100 0110 001 = Network #2, Zone #13, Tower #7
