Pro-668: phase 2 decode problems

Hi,

Really enjoying my new 668. I noticed that when I attempt to listen to a p25 tdma p2 system, the voice kind of warbles and the volume fluctuates making it hard to understand. I thought it may be a signal problem but I have tried from many different physical locations outside with no difference. The signal meter is showing a solid 3 or 4 bars so I am not convinced its the signal.

Are there any other adjustments I can tweak to make this work?

p25 warble

There is no unit to date that hasn't eperienced this it's a digital signal even a $5,000 thousands Dollar motorola. P25 system can't escape this I found the following settings.ON MY 668 Helped me thay may help you EncLevel 2db DSPL set at 16. ADC+0db DAC+ 0 db # hope it helps. HAPPY SCANNING.
