Philly Analog Freqs

Does anyone know if there are still any analog freqs used by the PPD or PFD? I know that HASTE (47.54) is still used and some of the older PPD cars still have an analog radio tuned to J-Band. You would think that with all the problems with the new system, that they would be using some analog freqs.

There are only a few frequencies that are used that are analog. PD-Tac-2, PFD N Analog, and PFD S Analog - and are all simplex. PD Tac-1 is P25 simplex - and PFD Tac's are digital on the system.

When is the last time Philly Medic's used Med Ch. One (463.000?)?

I asked because I recently heard transmissions on the old PFD subway freq (154.965). Definitely was public safety, but not PFD.

That is used by another user in New Jersey. It comes in loud and clear on my radio. Definately not PFD, and is a town in NJ for EMS.

154.965 is used by Hunterdon County, NJ as their Countywide TAC-1 repeater for Police and EMS Countywide use (PL=192.8). The signal is very strong.

Kel - I get a 5 by 9 signal from my home in Northeast Philadelphia also. I heard it the other day and remembered what you said it was. I also have my base antenna pointed in that direction.

154.965 also repeats Wilmington city FD/EMS dispatch from the 800 system.

BTW 173.375 repeats the main wilmington PD dispatch TG.

154.965 is also Wildwood, NJ police primary. Their cars are 3XX numbers and the dispatcher is "district 3".
