What control channels do the Phoenix fd use for their new trunked system? I programmed the frequencies from the SWFD9 and have not heard a thing.

PFD is not yet on the new system. Rumor has it that they may wait until the TRS is operating on 700MHz before they convert. Even if they don't wait for that, they are waiting on some system changes, such as simplex fireground channels to be added, additional repeaters to enhance coverage, etc. Perhaps someone more in-the-know can elaborate on that. Mesa FD is simulcasting their traffic on the new system at this time, but all the VHF channels are still being used. So if you hear any fire traffic on Simulcast C or D, it's Mesa.

Ohhh cool! I can't pick up B from here so that's why I didn't know this. Wish they'd use C....
