Pickens and dawson county

I wonder if one or both of the counties will be joining the Cobb county or hall county system in the future

Is Pickens county actively working on an upgrade? I know Dawson has already approved funding for P25, but like you said not sure which one they are going with. I know Dawson was considering building their own P25 system, but I can't imagine that making much financial sense.

I would think that they would join one of the neighboring counties but that's just my opinion

I haven't heard anything from Pickens county but I have family there and was curious if anyone else has heard anything

Pickens county fire appears to be upgrading from XPR radios to APX radios.

Pickens Fire has about six APX portables for command staff and one APX mobile.
